On October 10, 2025, the first joint seminar of Dnipro University of Technology and Lancaster University within frame of "Advance HEI Reputation through Global Collaboration" project took place at Dnipro University of Technology. The event brought together researchers eager to contribute to the university’s visibility and strengthen their own professional brand.
Tetiana Kuvaieva, Head of Marketing Department, demonstrated how a researcher’s personal brand can reflect the university’s mission and help create its recognizable identity, using examples from colleagues at Dnipro University of Technology. Rachel Harvey, Global Engagement Manager at Lancaster University, shared proven practices and successful cases that help researchers enhance their visibility and strengthen their institution’s reputation on the global stage.
Valeriia Pinchuk, Head of Department of Thermal Engineering and Energy Technology, presented Dnipro University of Technology’s institutional project developed as part of the Training Programme for Academic Managers. The initiative aims to help researchers gain global recognition by transforming management approaches and creating a supportive research environment. Ihor Nikitenko, Vice-Rector for Research, led an interactive reflection session where participants discussed how the contributions of each researcher influence the university’s institutional reputation and overall visibility.
Kseniia Tiukhmenova, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, moderated the event, fostering a friendly and motivating atmosphere for knowledge sharing. The seminar concluded with a lively discussion on current challenges and opportunities for researchers. Participants exchanged experiences and suggested topics for future seminars, including internationalization, academic leadership, and the development of research communities. The seminar served as a space for inspiration and collaboration — a place where new ideas are born and change begins. T marks the first step in a series of events designed to help researchers strengthen their impact and achieve global recognition.
